Previously based in Dunfanaghy, Claire is now offering massage treatments from her home in a peaceful area in Gortahork, a scenic 25 minute drive from Dunfanaghy.

Claire has been practicing massage therapy for years and focuses on stress relief which is what the majority of us need these days to relieve us from the chaos of daily life.

With ITEC Certifications in Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology and Skincare, and a personalized approach to each session, we hope to provide the ultimate in relaxation with lasting results.

Holistic Massage

This is a soothing, flowing massage to help destress and relax your body and your mind. I use Swedish massage techniques to induce relaxation, relieving the contractions of life in the body. With the help of flowing strokes, warm oil and towels I will try and bring the body back into balance leaving you feeling calm, peaceful and restored.

Deep Tissue

This treatment works deeply into the muscles and connective tissues to relieve muscle tension. I use slow, deep strokes and firm pressure to

relieve muscle pain while also inducing a state of relaxation by releasing the stress that the body is holding.

Indian Head Massage

This treatment begins with a back, neck and shoulders massage using Swedish massage techniques to relieve tension. I then move up to the head, massaging the scalp, then moving to the face. By pressing on pressure points tension can be relieved and energy can flow freely. This treatment can help those with sinus issues, migraines, headaches, jaw tension or with an overactive mind. It is a deeply relaxing and soothing experience which leaves you feeling nurtured.

Reflexology

On the soles of our feet is a map of our body. Each reflex point corresponds with a point in the body. By applying pressure to these points we can bring about healing. In a reflexology session I work through the map applying pressure to each reflex point. It benefits all of the systems- skeletal, muscular, lymphatic, respiratory, endocrine, cardiovascular, nervous, digestive and reproductive. It rebalances the body and induces deep relaxation. This is a gentle and nourishing treatment.
